Gaston Lachaise

Gaston Lachaise was a French-American sculptor. Known for his female figures. His work is interesting to me because he does not do sculptures of regular skinny women, but full-figured women.

Isamu Noguchi

Isamu Noguchi was a Japanese artist and landscape architect. His artistic career spanned 6 decades. I like his work because he used a variety of materials and variety of shapes to portray everyday objects.

Nancy Graves

Nancy Graves was an American sculptor, painter, printmaker, and film maker. She focused on camels and maps of the moon.

I like her use of materials and colors.

Antoni Gaudi

Antoni Gaudi belonged to the modernist movement and was known for his unique and individual designs. I like his work because each piece is architecture and design os dramatically different and shows a variety of different structure and movement.

Umberto Boccioni

Umberto Boccioni was an Italian painter and sculptor. Like many other Futurist Artists his work concentrated on the portrayal of movement; speed and technology. I like how he caputures movement, from his paintings to his bronze sculptures it looks as though its still in motion.
